U11’s
Well done to our 11’s who took part in the Ulster Blitz last Saturday morning. The showers didn’t deter them as they took on teams from Counties Armagh , Tyrone and Down. A great experience for the lads to take part in the games which was hosted by Truagh Gaels in St. Mellons Park.
U17’s
Well done to our 17’s,who, secured their spot in the Division 3A cup final on Monday night. In a David and Goliath contest , away to Inniskeen, the odds were firmly stacked against from all directions. However, in those famous words , cometh the hour cometh the men. Our lads plucked a performance from the top drawer to deservedly overcome the favourites. Their work rate and intensity, was second to none, and having nudged their way into the lead in the first half they maintained a tight grip of it despite the pressure. Their reward for their 2-12 to 012 win is a final spot against Aghabog. The ultimate showdown with date, time and venue to be announced. Regardless of what happens from here on, the lads and management have shown great comradery and have worked extremely hard. We wish them all the best.
