Senior Ladies
The Senior Ladies would like to thank Liam McNelis from H&L Ironworks in New York who have kindly sponsored their new training gear. Liam, a Monaghan Town native, has close connections with the club as he has family playing with teams over a variety of age groups.

U12 Boys
Last weekend was very unique as our U12 squad played in two finals, on two days against the same opposition but in different divisions…. Everybody still with me.? This was such an achievement in itself but to win would be a bonus. Our first game on Saturday was in Smithborough and Emyvale was the team. This was the Division 5 Shield final and it was a rip roaring affair. The lads played exceptionally well in all areas and forged a lead early on. Despite a strong second period fight back from Emyvale, the team had enough to get over the line. Victory was ours and the relief and jubilation was ecstatic from players, management and parents. Following the presentation it was back to the Club for refreshments and an evening of celebrations.

Sunday would see us enter Gavan Duffy Park for the Division 2 Shield final and once again it would be against Emyvale.  This would be a very tense and fiery affair from the off. Both teams egger to please the large crowd gave a certain edge to the game but our boys hit the front early and piled on the pressure. This would be a low scoring game for a juvenile final, but the level of skill was incredible from sides. Every facet of game was on show and crowd was totally enthralled. Although we battled hard, Emyvale proved stronger as the game wore on. In the end, it was only a goal that separated the sides with Emyvale taking the spoils. Disappointing for the boys but what a performance. Both teams had won a final and all was fair.

The Club is incredibly proud of our weekend performances and commend the teams and their management on their dedication and commitment all year. Quite a number of the players will be available at this age in 2025 and all experiences they have will stand them in good stead.

U14 Div 1 Girls Final
The Club would like to wish our U14 girls all the best in their Championship final on Saturday at 2.30pm , against Donaghmoyne, in Clontirbret. This team has been working so hard all year and now reached the final where we hope they can go all the way.
