Minor Boys The very best of luck to our Minor Boys and their management as they take on Inniskeen in the Div. 4 League Final, in Toome on Friday evening at 6.45pm. The lads have worked hard and had even had a few ups and downs on the way, but they are there now so please come out and support them.
Senior Ladies Championship Our Senior Ladies hosted Killanny for round one of the championship last Saturday evening. A lackluster first half had the girls scrapping for every ball and not able to convert chances, leaving a six point deficit at the break. However, a completely rejuvenated team emerged for the second period and took control. Early scores, brought them back into it, while keeping the opposition to a single score during this half. Alas a winning score didn’t emerge and they had to settle on a draw at eight points each. A good second half will give them confidence for their next outing.

Senior Mens Championship Aghabog’s arrival for the game one of the championship didn’t fail to entertain the crowd. However the appearance of the rain did dampen the noise but not the intensity. There was nothing between both teams at the interval with points and goals being traded, resulting in a scoreline of 1-5 each. The second half injected more urgency in the Seans and they pushed into a six point lead. However, the visitors fought back and as we headed into the six additional minutes to full time they trailed by three points. Fate lead them to a goal and result was a draw. It was disappointing having dominated and being in front for a long period, but maybe a lesson in complacency was learned. Next up is an away fixture to Oram and the hunt for a win.

Condolences The club received the terrible news this week of the untimely passing of Jennifer Kelly (Clerkin) from Corcaghan. As a former Ladies player, she and her family were well known in the Club. She was recently a part of the Gaelic for Mothers and Others and her young sons are members of the Sean Ógs Academy. At this incredibly sad time, we, as a Club and Community, offer our sincere condolences to her Husband Niall, sons Sean, Darragh, Conor and Finn, parents Martin and Elizabeth, brother Stephen (Sarah), sister Katie (Shane) and her extended family and friends.
