LGFA Junior Championship
Our Senior Ladies bounced back on Sunday for a great championship win over Monaghan Harps. Playing in horrendously wet conditions, the team put in a serious shift and were rewarded with a notable victory. This now leaves them needing a win over Killeevan to qualify as one of the top two in the group. A tall order we know, but, they have belief now that they can advance to the final. Please make the effort to attend the game on Sunday at 2pm in Killeevan.

Juveniles
Our U12 Div 2 team secured a tremendous league semi final win, at home, over Emyvale on Saturday last. The lads played top stuff to achieve their place in the last stage of the competition. A squad effort with all the team adding to the result.

This will now be a huge weekend for our U12 teams as both finals take place on Saturday and Sunday. The Div 2 final will be on Saturday at 2pm in Rockcorry, where Aughnamullen will be the opposition, and our Div.6 final will be against Cremartin on Sunday at 11.30am in Tyholland. This will be massive for the lads as hope to go one better from last year and win both games. The work and energy that that management and lads have put in over the season is commendable and should be rewarded with our members coming out and showing their support. Good luck to all and we hope to have silverware in the Complex this weekend.

The Seans Indoor Bowling team returns for another season on Thursday at 8pm in the Club Complex. The team has had recent success and gained promotion within the local bowling ranks. They are now anxious to recruit new players and keep the momentum going. Everybody of all ages and abilities are welcome to come and try the game. The Seans Players are there to help and guide all new participants with the rules and techniques. Please come along and see what you think.
