It was another cracker Monday bingo as we paid out over €5000 in prizes to our players. Bingo In The Hall
Sunday the 3rd of August at 3pm will see Bingo return to the hall for one evening only. In association with our Gaelic for Mothers and Others we will be heading back in time to the complex for the full bingo experience. Books can only be purchased at the door and this bingo will not be streamed online.

Senior Men
Our exciting league run came to a stuttering halt on Saturday evening as we exited the semi final with defeat to Éire Óg. This was a hugely important stage in the development of the team on the back of a couple of very lean years since our last promotion. The game was dominated by the visitors despite our best efforts. There was a welcome return for Niall Kearns however it would not be enough to make an impact on the result. The first half was exciting and many well taken scores which left us seven points in arrears at the half hour mark. The second period didn’t really improve although we did reduce the deficit, albeit temporarily, but never pushed ahead. The eventuality was defeat by eight points but this in no way reflected our potential in seeking promotion. What’s gone is gone and we wish our neighbours well in the final as we regroup to prepare for the championship in two weeks. Hard luck on this occasion to the lads and management but what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and we haven’t seen the best of this group just yet.

Hard luck our Rock McDermotts under 16 squad who suffered a narrow defeat to Aghabog in their second round of the championship. Our U12 girls had a super away win in Killanny and the Minor girls moved into second place in the league with a great win at home to Truagh.
