For the month of September, each week,  we will draw five players that will be entered in our celebration draw on September 30th. All you have to do is play, as normal, and you’re in with a chance of winning our grand prize draw. Watch out for our promotions on social media.

Junior Championship
Saturday evening last saw us draw the curtain down on the championship and ultimately our season, as defeat away to Eire Og stamped our exit from the competition. In a game, where both sides flattered to deceive and left little for the spectators to appreciate, the Seans were unfortunately out played for short periods where the opposition converted their chances. At times, the game descended into just pulling and dragging, but typical for a local derby and not helping the quality of football. The game is over,  and the competition is done for us, so we must now take a step back and reflect on what was a topsy turvy season. The Club must acknowledge and commend the efforts of the team and their management for trying their hardest to make it happen at every opportunity. All their endeavours should not be underestimated , as we introduced some new talent from the lower ranks and welcomed back some old faces. Hopefully this mix of youth and experience will bring better fortunes next year.

U18 Girls
Hard luck to the Minor Girls who suffered another final disappointment at the hands of Donaghmoyne on Thursday last in their Championship contest. A valiant effort against an uncompromising machine in Donaghmoyne who proved too strong on the night. A huge congratulations to the girls and management who have but a serious effort in this year reaching two finals. This is a young team and their prospects are huge for next year.

Minor Boys
The lads suffered a home defeat to Aughnamullen in the Div2 Championship on Sunday morning. It was a difficult fixture given some players involvement in the U16 final and Junior Championship match on Saturday. Next up is away to Killanny.

U16 Boys
After a turbulent league campaign, our U16 Boys turned their season around with a terrific win on Saturday in the Div 5 Shield Final. They took on Killanny in the final match of the year and saved the best to last. A super display of individual skill and team play was centre to the win. Their small squad worked well, and the management were on the money with their tactics and selections. A win in a any final is a great day and this was no different. Congratulations to the team and their management on the victory but more so on their dedication to stick at it despite early performances. This is testimony to the lads and their coaches and we hope they enjoy the limelight.

U14 Girls
Another girls final beckons as the U14’s secured their place in the Div.1 Championship Final with a serious win away to Magheracloone on Monday night. The girls and management have worked hard to get here, and we will be out in numbers to support them in the final.

U12 Boys
Well done to our U12 boys who have qualified for the Div 2 and Div 5 Shield finals following excellent victories last weekend. This squad of players are so committed to their cause, and we want to see all the club players and members come out and support them for the finals.

Indoor Bowls
The Seans Indoor Bowling team returns for another season on Thursday at 8pm in the Club Complex. The team has had recent success and gained promotion within the local bowling ranks. They are now anxious to recruit new players and keep the momentum going. Everybody of all ages and abilities are welcome to come and try the game.
