Junior Championship
Our championship race started with the visit of Drumhowan on Saturday evening last. The game didn’t open well for us and the trend continued for the first half. A ten point deficit faced us in the second period with a definite need to up the performances all over the park. To be fair, they stepped up and closed out the onslaught of scores, while tagging on 1-5 in process. However, we hadn’t enough to close the gap, and Drumhowan ran out six point winners. Probably not our finest hour of football to the purest, but that game is gone and we move on to prepare for the trip to Aghabog on Sunday afternoon. Please come out and support the lads and management.

U16 Girls
Congratulations to our U16 girls who have booked their place in the Division 2 League Final on Friday night. Inniskeen will be their opponents with a venue and time to be confirmed. This comes off the back of a great home win against Monaghan Harps in the semi final. The contest was balanced on a knife edge for most of the time with our girls being much more economic with changes and scores converted. In the end they held their nerve and goal line for a superb win. Good luck to all in the final and please come and support them.
