Bingo at The Seans
Well done to our winners on Monday night as we gave away nearly €5500 in prizes. There was no winners of the main jackpotand it now moves on to €10900. All other jackpots remain the same. Junior League
We travelled to Rockcorry for the Junior League quarter final on Friday last. Unfortunately it wouldn’t be our finest hour of football. The home side established their position early on and we found it difficult to breakdown the packed defence. Although only two points behind at the break our performance remained well below par for the second half. Rockcorry capitalised on our poor form coupled with a black card and continued to press on with job to run out winners by five points. The league is now gone, and we reset for the championship in the next few weeks.
Senior Ladies
Well done to the Ladies who secured a superb victory, at home, to Inniskeen on Sunday morning. A highly charged and competitive encounter with a fight for very ball at either end of the pitch from start to finish. The team dug deep and held off an Inniskeen comeback in the latter stages. Job done and a good confidence builder.
Minor Boys
Our Minor lads managed to get back to winning ways last Tuesday with a home win against Latton. Having been in control for most of the game, a purple period in the second half may have let the visitors back into the game but the boys pulled it together and ushered out the win. Next up is Aghabog and a different proposition.
Minor Girls
The best of luck to the team and management who head to Aghabog on Thursday night for the League Final with Donaghmoyne at 7.30pm.
U14 Girls
Hard luck to the girls who were pipped to the post by the narrowest of margins on Saturday evening in the league semi final. Scotstown took victory by a single point but not without a huge effort from our girls. Credit to the team, who have had a very good league campaign, and I don’t doubt that they will be in the Championship mix when it comes around.
