Intermediate Championship

Our championship series continued last Sunday, away to Killanny. This was another war of attrition having played out a marathon affair in the league relegation series. The game was tough and messy at times with cards aplenty for ourselves with home team managing to dodge them. The first half gave Killanny a lead of five points and we were struggling to find an answer. The second period boosted our attack and we tagged on a few scores to reduce the advantage. However, a red card reduced our numbers and with it our chances. The game eventually trickled out with a three point advantage to Killanny. We now take a well earned break from games and a chance to evaluate.
